A freelance writer, published author, and community activist, she has received the 2019 Maharaja Gulab Singh Memorial Award, the 2019 Web Wonder Women Award from Ministry of Women & Child Development, Twitter India, and Breakthrough India, and commendation from the British Red Cross.

Her book 'Mountain Goddesses' explores Dharmic femininity in Jammu hills' traditions. Deeply invested in Bihar’s growth story, she actively works to promote Bihar’s legacy as the cradle of Bharat’s civilization through BAUK.
